story about a Kentucky mom and her son sparked a funny conversation on The Bobby Bones Show this morning.

Holly LaFavers shared on Facebook that her son Liam ordered 30 cases of Dum-Sum suckers off of Amazon while playing on her phone. She admitted she tried to stop the order before it came to her house, but it was too late. The show discussed things their kids have accidentally bought over the years.

When Amy first got her kids, they purchased them both Fire Tablets. Turns out, they forgot to turn on parental controls. Amy's daughter was able to buy a bunch of things and it ended up being hundreds of dollars worth of digital content. Thankfully, Amy was able to call Amazon and get it all refunded.

Eddie's kid was playing games on Eddie's phone when he purchased $250 in power ups within the game. When Eddie noticed, he called Apple to ask them to help. Apple was able to take away all of the power ups and give Eddie his money back.

Bobby recalled when he was a kid a program that said you can call the number and talk to your favorite baseball stars. He could talk to two of his favorites Andre Dawson and Mark Graves. The first minute of the phone call was $2.99, then each minute after as 99 cents. During his first call, Bobby realized it was recordings so he decided to call and hang up before the minute was over so he wouldn't get charged. Well, he did that several times and it turns out he was charging up the bill. His grandma got a bill for $110, thankfully she was able to get it all back.

The 'World's Largest Truck Stop'

Recently, my wife and I took a road trip from Sioux Falls to Saginaw, Michigan.

Why would we drive 15 hours to Saginaw? My wife has family there, plus we were going to see a concert in Detroit, but the show was canceled.

Since we already had the time off from work so we decided to spend a few days in that 'tourist destination' known as Saginaw. Sure, it's not Vegas or Florida, but it was nice to get out of town for a few days.

We drove down Interstate 29 to the Omaha area and picked up Interstate 80 then headed east across Iowa. Just to the west of the Quad Cities sits Iowa 80, the self-proclaimed 'World's Largest Truck Stop'.
