It was quick updates around the room this week on The Bobby Bones Show, and as always, things got interesting fast.

Lunchbox shared that he was called for jury duty. The problem? The show will be on a cruise that week. He admitted he hadn’t contacted the court yet, but he did some “research.” He found a TikTok video of a sheriff saying that if you miss jury duty, you’ll most likely just get a letter — not get arrested. The video also warned people about jury duty scams and said no one is going to call you about a warrant.

Lunchbox said based on that clip, he figured nothing serious would happen.

Bobby wasn’t so sure.

He asked his AI assistant what really happens if someone ignores a jury duty summons. The answer was clear: it’s a legal obligation. You might first get a reminder, but if you keep ignoring it, you could face fines or even be held in contempt of court. When asked about Nashville specifically, the assistant said you may not be chased down right away, but it’s much smarter to call and reschedule. After hearing that, Lunchbox said he would go ahead and contact the court.

Eddie shared a career update, too. He hasn’t heard back about his “My Little Pony” audition and thinks it was likely a nationwide search. But he does have a new opportunity. A listener named Andrew is producing a podcast drama and asked Eddie to voice a character called Dan the Weatherman. His role will open season two. He’s already practicing his lines with his son.
