Lunchbox’s Dream Of The Price Is Right Takes A Twist
Here in Sioux Falls and all across South Dakota, plus the corners of Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska folks love waking up to The Bobby Bones Show every morning. Lunchbox always keeps things funny and real, so when he decided to chase a dream and try out for The Price Is Right, everyone was cheering him on.
He pictured it perfectly walking in with a tux, full of energy, ready to hear that famous line, “Come on down!” But that big moment never came. On the first day, he waited and waited, but his name wasn’t called. Day two, same thing. By the third taping, he was still hoping. When the last name of the day got called and it wasn’t him, reality hit hard. Lunchbox said he just sat there for a while, disappointed, trying to figure out what went wrong.

What made it worse, he said, was watching other people get picked who “didn’t even have rizz” meaning, they didn’t seem that exciting! Amy felt bad for him, knowing how much it meant. Bobby told him not to beat himself up sometimes dreams don’t go how we plan, but it’s still worth trying. You’ll always regret what you don’t do more than what you fail at.
Lunchbox said he’d go back again if he could. He didn’t even get to meet Drew Carey since the crowd gets shuffled out right after the show ends. Still, he’ll be on TV, keep an eye out for him in the audience on the March 1st and April 2nd episodes.
