Is Skating Solo At A Rink A Quirky Passion Or A Red Flag?
Thank you for starting your day with The Bobby Bones Show on Kickin' Country. One of the most polarizing members of the show had a point that he wanted to make on a recent show. If you listen to the show regularly, you know that The Box, Lunchbox, can come up with some unique angles when it comes to looking and people and looking at life.
Lunchbox recently spotted something at the skating rink that made him do a double take: an older guy skating all by himself.
He wasn’t just casually rolling around either, this man came prepared with his own skates, wiped the sweat off in between laps, joined in the limbo contest, and showed off some impressive tricks. While Lunchbox admitted to feeling secondhand embarrassment for him, Bobby and Amy didn’t see the big deal. In their eyes, the guy just enjoys skating and was doing his thing. Bobby did add that it might be an “unorthodox” way to spend a Friday night alone, but still not a reason to judge.
Eddie, however, sided with Lunchbox, calling the solo skater a “loser.” He even swore he’s seen the same guy before at a rink. That left the debate split right down the middle. Enter Morgan as the deciding vote. She thought it was awesome, pointing out that this guy is just living life and doing what he loves. But when the show pressed her about whether she’d date someone who did this, she admitted it might feel a little odd, though still better than staying home and doing nothing when you want to do something
