A Mix-up At The ACT Test Leaves Amy Feeling Youthful
Age is a funny thing. When you're younger, it seems like you want to look older. Then when you get older, you lean the other way. Fast. Case and point, Amy from The Bobby Bones Show had something happen that she took as a compliment and rightfully so.
Amy took her daughter to the ACT testing and something awesome happened.
When Amy took her daughter up to the table, they also asked Amy for her ID. The people at the table thought Amy was there to take a test too, she was mistaken for a high schooler. She thinks some of it is because Stachira is black and she is white, so they don't assume it's her daughter. However, Amy was still happy that the other adults thought she was a high schooler. Bobby asked what outfit she had on since that could play a role. Amy thinks she had on a very "mom outfit," which was her in a tennis skirt with a workout crop top and tennis shoes. She did have a little midriff showing, but it wasn't anything abnormal.
How about you? Have you had an incident where you were either bummed out or quietly fired up in a positive way that someone asked or read you wrong when asking for your age?
