Eddie & Abby Skydive with The Army Golden Knights

Eddie and Abby went skydiving for the first time with the US Army Golden Knights Wednesday, June 12, 2023

They drove an hour to Kentucky where they began the training class. Both of them were extremely nervous as the time got closer. Scuba Steve was there to share live updates and take pictures and videos. Once training was over, they geared up and prepared to board the plane, but it kept getting delayed because Eddie had to keep going to the bathroom.

Once the plane took off, Scuba Steve waited for them at the landing site. The longest part was the plane ride to reach the altitude they needed to jump from. Both Eddie and Abby jumped, attached to an Army Golden Knight, and landed perfectly. They were in the air for only a few minutes and Abby landed first and said she loved it so much and wanted to do it again. Eddie had a great landing and thought it was an amazing experience and would do it again!
