Everyone has a different origin story for how they fell in love with country music. The Bobby Bones Show went around the studio to share their love for country music, and what country artist was the beginning of that love.

For Amy, her first country music love was George Strait and continues to be to this day. She had a family member who worked for him growing up, so she always had a little bit of a family tie to Strait, and to top it off her dad listened to his music all the time. She has a vivid memory dancing with her father when she was really young to "Amarillo By Morning."

Bobby's connection to country music came from his grandma who played records like Johnny Cash's gospel album, Andy Griffith, and Ray CharlesModern Sounds of Country Music. However, for him, when he was old enough to make his own music choices the song that peaked his interest in country music was "Don't Take The Girl" by Tim McGraw and everything Garth Brooks.

Eddie's has always been and continues to be Garth Brooks. He remembers being really young and asking his dad for Garth Brooks' World Tour Jacket. Eddie said it was so cheesy and shiny, but he wore it everywhere because he loved Brooks and his music so much.

Morgan said her parents always played country music growing up, but her dad would often play Reba McEntire in his truck like "Fancy" and "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" because he loved her so much. He even named their first dog Reba after her. Then Shania Twain was her first personal CD purchase and first concert to ever attend, with McEntire as the second concert.

Top 10 From The 2021 Hot Classics Night Classic Car Show

It was perfect weather for the 4th Annual Hot Classics Night Classic Car Show last Saturday (July 24, 2021). Cars were packed in the area around 12th Street and 1st Ave in downtown Sioux Falls.

There were many typical cars that you would expect to see at a classic car show such as Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, and Chevelles.

As nice as those cars can be, when I go to a show, I like to look for the oddball cars and cars you just don't see that often.

With that said, here's my top 10 from the 2021 Hot Classics Night Classic Car Show:

The 'World's Largest Truck Stop'

Recently, my wife and I took a road trip from Sioux Falls to Saginaw, Michigan.

Why would we drive 15 hours to Saginaw? My wife has family there, plus we were going to see a concert in Detroit, but the show was canceled.

Since we already had the time off from work so we decided to spend a few days in that 'tourist destination' known as Saginaw. Sure, it's not Vegas or Florida, but it was nice to get out of town for a few days.

We drove down Interstate 29 to the Omaha area and picked up Interstate 80 then headed east across Iowa. Just to the west of the Quad Cities sits Iowa 80, the self-proclaimed 'World's Largest Truck Stop'.
