A couple weeks ago, Amy proposed the Bobby Bones Show do an exercise when the blood moon hits.

When a Blood Moon happens the earth is between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light and casting a shadow down on the moon. There are people who believe in some practices to do during a blood moon that can benefit a person. Amy likes doing these activities because it can't hurt to do them. One of the big practices is to write things down that one wants to be released like burdens or negative energy. After they write these intentions down, they burn them in a safe container and then spread the ashes in a body of water.

Listen to The Bobby Bones Show weekday mornings from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM on The New 99-1 AND 100.5, Kickin' Country and worldwide on your free Kickin' Country App!

Today (March 13), the show wrote down two things they're hoping to release with the blood moon happening this evening, one was a need and one was a wish. Amy shared she wants to release her need to always get answers, and she's wishing to get another cat. Eddie admitted he wants to release his urge to eat cookies late at night, and he wishes that the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl this year. Morgan wants to release any health issues she's been having thanks to long COVID like vertigo and her loss of smell, and she wishes to find her forever partner. Raymundo hopes to release his need to be tan, he wants to be cool with being Caucasian. Then Raymundo's wish is for the cost of cement to go down so that he and bae can pave the driveway. Lunchbox wants to release the awkward energy between him and his mother in law and her flirtatious ways. His wish is that he wins a HUGE millions lottery and gets to live the rich life. Bobby released the fear of his sleep struggles and fighting the fear of thinking he may never get good sleep. Then Bobby's wish is that Arkansas beats Ole Miss in the second round of the basketball tournament today.

The 'World's Largest Truck Stop'

Recently, my wife and I took a road trip from Sioux Falls to Saginaw, Michigan.

Why would we drive 15 hours to Saginaw? My wife has family there, plus we were going to see a concert in Detroit, but the show was canceled.

Since we already had the time off from work so we decided to spend a few days in that 'tourist destination' known as Saginaw. Sure, it's not Vegas or Florida, but it was nice to get out of town for a few days.

We drove down Interstate 29 to the Omaha area and picked up Interstate 80 then headed east across Iowa. Just to the west of the Quad Cities sits Iowa 80, the self-proclaimed 'World's Largest Truck Stop'.
