Amy’s Epic Detour Leads To Another Late Arrival Story
Amy finally figured out why she was late and upset Bobby. Listeners who heard part 2 of The Bobby Bones Show on podcast heard a little tiff between Bobby and Amy the other day.

Bobby mentioned that he was holding on to Amy being late within the last few years, but Amy couldn't place the time she arrived late. After thinking for a few days, Amy finally realized. It was the home run derby, which was an out of studio show event. Everyone arrived on time, but there was no sight of Amy. Morgan got through a whole round of hitting before she arrived.
Apparently, Amy was on the phone with Bobby's wife Caitlin and Amy got a little side-tracked because she saw Bobby and Caitlin's house on her GPS. She wanted to drive by their house and see if Caitlin could hear her honk, and while she was doing that she realized she missed her turn. Caitlin had Amy's back and told Bobby that she was on time based on their conversation. Amy shared that she could check her time log because she called Scuba Steve to let him know she was there, but she couldn't see anyone. She was on the other side of the building, so she had to drive to meet us. She added that she didn't detour on purpose because she thought she as driving right by Bobby and Caitlin's house to get to the park.
Lunchbox asked Bobby if Amy's excuse for being late was valid and he said no, but he has let it go. He didn't send her home either, which is what Bobby typically does if someone ever shows up late to the show or show events.
