To prepare for the occasion, Bones wore a suit and tie while he opened the envelopes. The first category he announced was for Entertainer of The Year, he went on to announce more of the categories, and nominees Miranda Lambert and Jordan Davis called into the show to talk about their nomination too!

Miranda Lambert, who is nominated for Female Artist of The Year and Album of The Year for Palomino, said that she was thrilled because that album was such a labor of love for her. She said this album felt different than her other projects because it was sort of a concept record. While writing the songs for it, she got to make up interesting characters that lived throughout the country and it mapped out the record.

Listen to The Bobby Bones Show weekday mornings from 5:00 am to 9:00 am on The New 99-1 AND 1oo.5, Kickin' Country or on your Kickin' Country App!

First-time nominee for Male Artist of The Year, Jordan Davis, also called from his kitchen where he said he was pacing back and forth because it’s so crazy to be nominated. He didn’t expect to be nominated and feels like this is a major marking point in his career. He said he’s going to start practicing his face when they show all the nominees in the crowd on TV.

See Some of Sioux Falls' Beautiful Murals [PHOTOS]

I was in Canton, SD, and I happened upon a new mural.

It was really cool and that got me thinking that I know of a few murals in Sioux Falls, but I bet there's more than I realize. So, I put it out on social media for the people of Sioux Falls to tell me where all the murals are!

A few of them I had never seen, or never even been to that part of town, and a few of them, I drive by all the time and never noticed!

I know a few businesses have murals inside their establishments, but I decided to keep it to murals that are totally open for the public to see. No need to be 21!

So, here we go! Let's check out some of Sioux Falls' murals.
Did I miss one? Let me know!
