Local teams fared well at the NSIC Conference track and field meet at Howard Wood Field. The Augustana men finished in second place while the Viking women were third. The University of Sioux Falls teams both finished fourth.

oubt there are many followers of the Augustana Vikings who haven't caught themselves scratching their heads this season. The Vikings probably didn't expect to have a record of 2-4 at this stage of the year. I didn't expect it either but over the past few years I've developed a little bit different view of the NSIC and the Augustana Vikings.
