Top 5 Stories KIKN.com January 12-19, 2014

We had a busy week at KIKN.com this past week. First of all, thanks to all of you who 'keep checking back.'

This week we had a mix of stories that stood out. The big story of the week goes to Tammy.  She did some digging and found the name of the song and the artist that is featured at the beginning of Rodeo Girls. There was local and national interest in the story.

Tammy also featured a story about 'Best South Dakota towns for Small Families. We are very proud of our state and love it when we get national attention. We know South Dakota is one of the best kept secrets in the world!

Country music news is also a big draw to kikn.com.  Oh, it dosen't hurt that Brantley Gilbert announced his upcoming tour that includes a stop to Sioux Falls this spring.

The Sioux Empire Fair recently announced some of the Country Acts that will be coming to Sioux Falls to close out summer.

Morning Driver Dan Collins recently went to a basketball clinic put on by our local D-League Affiliate Sioux Falls Skyforce. His kids enjoyed the clinic and he took his camera along and got some great shots of the event.
