South Dakota – North Dakota Resume Football Rivalry

They were both members of the old North Central Conference and the Great West Conference until 2011, but since then, South Dakota and North Dakota have gone their separate ways on the football field.

All of that is going to chance in 2016 when the Coyotes, members of the Missouri Valley Conference and UND, from the Big Sky Conference, renew the rivalry as non-conference opponents.

USD will play in Grand Forks Sept. 17, 2016, with the two teams coming to Vermillion  Sept. 16, 2017.

UND leads the all-time series 59-29-5.

South Dakota plays in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
