Bryan Bjerke made note that today is a huge day in American History.  He wrote this morning:

This is the 71st anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that killed thousands and launched the United States into World War II. Some 2,000 people will gather at the memorial, which will start with a moment of silence at 7:55 a.m. (11:55 a.m. CST) which is the exact time the bombing began in 1941. 2,390 service members and 49 civilians were killed in the attack that day. The President is calling for all flags to fly at half-staff today in observance and remembrance and also to honor military service members and veterans. We will always remember, we will never forget.

Thanks Bryan for the reminder.  December 7th, 1941 was indeed a day that will live in infamy.
