Jason Aldean Sells Out NYC’s Madison Square Garden
New York City is all about country music. Jason Aldean‘s NYC-area fans answered the call, as the singer’s Madison Square Garden show on his 2013 Night Train tour sold out in less than 10 minutes. The show is scheduled for March 2. Clearly, the Big Apple can’t wait for Aldean to take a big ol’ bite out of it.
Madison Square Garden is billed as the world’s most famous arena, and Aldean is going to take hold of the historic venue for a night. This is a massive addition to his list of career accomplishments. Congrats, Jason.
This is getting to be old (cowboy) hat for Aldean, as several of the tour stops sold out as soon as they went on sale.
Other sold out dates include the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium on April 13, as well as the two-night stand at Boston’s Fenway Park, which is set for July 12 and 13. Aldean’s show at Wrigley Field in Chicago, set for July 20, is also sold out.
“I think people underestimate country music’s popularity in New York City,” Aldean acknowledged in a press statement, admitting he is raring to go. “The Garden is one of those places every artist dreams of playing. I am blown away that my show sold out that quickly…it makes me even more excited to hit rehearsals this month and get the Night Train tour on the road. I can’t wait to see you, New York!”
