Invasion of Voles in Southeastern Sioux Falls

I thought I made it through the winter in pretty good shape. Then I made a trip around the yard and noticed a maze of trails in the corner of our property.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to tell that we have some new neighbors that have moved in. According to everything I've read and heard from friends at work, it sounds like and looks like we have voles in our backyard.

So, what to do? Head out with a pitchfork and poke and hope? Sounds like the best option is going to be poison of some sort.

I'll be doing some research and in the meantime I am open to suggestions. I will tell you this. I don't intend they are going to be in my yard much longer.
