As you can tell from the picture above, this storm is going to be an interesting one to clean up after.  Sunday afternoon many people were clearing the driveway the old fashioned way with a shovel, because the snow was too heavy and wet for a snow thrower.

This morning, the side streets are a frozen clumpy mess.  Residents in Sioux Falls will be watching to see how the city proceeds to either clear the streets or let them sit.

Regardless of how they decide to clear, or not clear the streets, one thing is certain.  Even though it's a bit of a hassle to clean up, we certainly needed the moisture.

As of 9:45 a.m. I-90 is open (use caution) from Sioux Falls to Wall.

Interstate 29 is now open from Sioux Falls to Watertown. It is still closed from Watertown to the North Dakota border.
