TMSG: Dog Leads Police to Help Save Injured Human
If you wake up with The Bobby Bones Show on Kickin' Country (The New 99-1 and 100.5, Kickin' Country) you hear a segment called Tell Me Something Good at :55 past the hour. Tuesday morning, Lunchbox had a GREAT Story. Here' more!
A Shiloh Shepherd named Tinsley did everything she could to help her human in danger, and she will forever be a hero because of it.
New Hampshire State Police were called about a loose canine. When they arrived, they found Tinsley, who continued running down the Interstate. The police officers were led directly to a damaged truck, where they realized the driver and passenger had been ejected from the vehicle. According to the police, both of the individuals "were hypothermic and seriously injured."
Lt. Dan Baldassarre told CNN, "This was almost like a real-life Lassie situation. It's really quite remarkable. This dog definitely saved their lives. I don't think they would have survived the night given the temperatures."
Tinsley's owner Cam Laundry called her his "guardian angel" and noted that she will absolutely be rewarded with her favorite things including treats, meat, and attention. Though he added, "She gets spoiled all the time."
