Big Bugs Make Appearance in Sioux Falls

The title says it all. It’s big bug time. Heck it’s small bug time too. Even though we’re relatively warm over the weekend the bugs are looking for a better place. A warmer place. A winter time survival place and in many cases its your home!

Saturday morning I was greeted by this big boy. Or girl. I’m not much good at sexing a Praying Mantis. At least that’s what I guess this bad boy, or girl is.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a common housefly, or a fruit fly that’s followed your tomatoes into the house, it seems like it’s a last call for warm spots for the winter going on.

This isn’t the first time we’ve had bug talk on KIKN.com. I’ll leave you a couple examples. Hey, it’s what I do this time of year.
