On Wednesday night, a semi-driver lost control of their vehicle resulting in the death of 12 cattle.

According to KCRG, the driver, who has not been named, was traveling southbound on US Highway 52 in Calmer, Iowa at around 10 PM. The driver was talking on the phone using a hands-free headset when he tried to grab a water jug from the passenger side of the cab.
