Woman Walks Into Police Station, Asks to Hug an Officer
Nobody doubts that being a cop can be hard and dangerous. According to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which tracks officers' deaths so their names can be enshrined on a Washington, D.C., memorial, eight law enforcement officers have shot and killed in the U.S. in the last month.
In Arvada, Colorado, police got a unusual visit from from one of their senior citizens. On Monday September 7, 2015, a woman showed up at the city’s Lake Arbor station and said she was very upset over the recent losses of so many of the nation’s officers that she just wanted to give a officer a hug to show her appreciation.
