Remember when  Kenny Chesney took pretty much all of 2014 off to focus on his upcoming album? ‘Wild Child,’ from his No. 1 ‘The Big Revival’ album, is his next single to take over the airwaves. The tune, which reunites him with duet partner Grace Potter.

Over the last several years, it seems like anytime anybody sings about a woman, she’s in cutoff jeans, drinking and on a tailgate — they objectify the hell out of them. Twenty years ago, I might have written a song like that — I probably did. But I’m at a point where I want to say something different about women.” - Kenny Chesney, Billboard Magazine

In an interview with People Magazine, that 'Wild Child' is "telling some girl out there that's she's got dreams, that's a free spirit, who's smart and interesting, that she has a chance," he says. "That she is worthy."

With lyrics like, “She’s a wild child / Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style / She can’t be tied down but for a while / I’ll be falling free and so in love / Might break my heart, but God she drives me wild child,” the song, which was written by Chesney along with Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally, pleases.

Chesney recently announced a stop in Sioux Falls on his upcoming Big Revival tour on June 18. We'll keep you posted on ticket information here.

Now, the newly released video to 'Wild Child' is here. Enjoy!
