Everybody has some sort of hobby. My hobby is wrestling words.

I first got into poetry by being exposed to two totally different styles, but was equally blown away by both.

It was a book of poetry released by Jewel called A Night Without Armor that first interested me in poetry.

Then I came across Russel Simmons Def Poetry Slam on HBO. I've been hooked on poetry, and the spoken word scene ever since.
