The Mall of America is Celebrating 25 Years. Here Are Some Fun Facts You May Not Know about the MOA.
Very soon, the kids will be back in school. If you've been putting off your family vacation, now would be a great time to load up the minivan and take a weekend trip to the Cities.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul area has hundreds of exciting things to see and do. You could check out the Science Museum of Minnesota, take in a Minnesota Twins game, take a tour of Paisley Park, and of course, you have to go shopping at the Mall of America.
The Mall of America is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The MOA opened on August 11, 1992. I remember it well. I was going to college in Marshall, Minnesota.
Did you know there are still 47 stores in the Mall of America that have been open as long as the Mall?
Did you know Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro will soon open a Carlo's Bakery in the Mall of America?
While some brick and mortar stores are closing their doors, the Mall of America is already planning its next phase.

- It cost $650 million to build the largest mall in the United States.
