New bill would bring military dogs home.

A new bill would help bring American military dogs back home. There are currently no regulations in place to facilitate the retirement of military dogs. The Military Working Dog Retirement Act of 2015 would require the Department of Defense to arrange and pay for transportation of soldier dogs to the U.S. when their service abroad is over, even if it's due to injury. The new bill would also make it easier for former handlers to find and reunite with their dogs. (MNN)

Here is an incredible video of militarily dogs throughout history serving bravely alongside service men and women. This video has a tendency to make people both smile and cry in under 3:00 minutes.
