This is not your typical 911 call! Let's get the story from Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens.

"We got a call on Sunday afternoon from a woman with trees near her property and heard some yelling from the trees like somebody needed help. Officers arrived at the location in Northeast Sioux Falls. They saw a guy who somehow managed to get wedged in a tree. His arm was stuck in the crevice between two branches. He was unable to free himself. Looks like he had been there for some time."

And then what happened?

"While paramedics, police officers and firefighters were trying to free him from the tree---once he was able to get out of there---he bit one of the firemen on the arm. He was then taken to the hospital. We knew he was on something. Later on we were able to figure out who that person was.

But that's part of the story!

"On Monday, he didn't want to be in the hospital and pulled out his IV. He then left. Officers were trying to track him down. After an hour and half, they caught him. He was then returned to the hospital. Once he is cleared medically, the Sioux Falls man will be taken to jail and charged with biting the firefighter and then ingesting the substance he had taken."
