Jimmie Johnson outlasts Brad Keselowski for the Texas AAA 500 win Sunday. He led a race-high 168 laps and helped Chevrolet win their 700th victory.

“We had a really strong car all night long,” said Johnson, who scored his 14th top-10 finish at TMS. “Being on four fresh tires there at the end was a big help. There was some crazy racing at the end and we able to rally around the top and get the win.”

With the victory Johnson now has a seven-point lead over Keselowski going into next weekend’s race at Phoenix. The season finale will be in two weeks at Homestead, Florida.
