Luke Bryan could have gone a lot of different directions for his "Strip It Down" video, given the sultry nature of the ballad, but he chose to keep it classy. The video, while definitely still sexy, takes a more holistic look at romance in relationships, and doesn’t actually star Bryan as one of the featured players.

Bryan sits at a piano in his own barn, playing the song on piano and singing the tune with passion, but he leaves the storyline to be told by others. Two men, one city boy and one country boy, talk on the phone at the beginning of the video, setting the scene, as it becomes clear that the guys are planning on trading places for the evening, taking their significant others to experience the romance of the opposite setting they’re used to.

The guys leave notes for their ladies, along with appropriate clothes for the surprise, then set out to trade cars — one, a truck and one, a luxury sedan — as well as accessories before picking up their dates for a romantic evening. It’s a unique take on the typical music video for a seductive love song, but it definitely works.

“Strip It Down” is the second single off Bryan' Kill the Lights album, released Aug. 7. He’s been taking a break from the Kick the Dust Up Tour to play some shows as part of his annual Farm Tour, but so far the rain has been a little prohibitive.

“Been doing Farm Tours for seven years, and this is the first time we’ve encountered this. We will learn and constantly get better. So sorry,” Bryan said on Twitter after canceling one of the shows. “Farm Tour has forever been a growing dream of mine. This year is our biggest so far. Hang in there with me. I swear I will make it count."

The artist wraps up the Kick the Dust Up Tour later this month.
