The Louise Avenue reconstruction project is into its first full week and one of the contractors who originally built it 30 years ago is back to rebuild it.

KDLT News' Jill Johnson tells us that Greg Branaugh of D&G Concrete first constructed Louise Avenue in Sioux Falls in 1987. The first time it was for $630,000. Move forward to 2017 and the price tag is $9.4 million.

This time more challenges face Branaugh and his crew. More businesses, heavier traffic, utilities and much more.

The project is expected to be done by mid-November.
