Over the July 4th weekend, my family and I had a chance to get down to the river for a little rest and relaxation. Part of the trip involved some quality time in Gross, Nebraska. Population 2.

Gross is a tiny little town on the northern border of Nebraska, just south of Ft. Randall Dam. If you head south out of Pickstown, SD you have to follow a maze of gravel roads to get there. I'll tell you this though, it's worth the trip. It's a beautiful trip, especially when the land is a green as it is right now.

We made our way to the tiny town this past Friday. The world famous Nebrask-Inn was packed. We had to wait a few minutes to get a table. After we were seated, we got our drinks and ordered. Cheeseburger and onion chips were the fare for me and it was awesome. Mike, Mary and Corey have been serving folks for years. It's usually packed because it's small town, gravel road good!

If you look closely at the pictures you'll see a Kickin' Country fridge magnet. Yep, I did a show on the road there. We figured it must have been about 2003. We had a blast and really should try to get back there again. They have a big street dance coming up. I think it's August 8th. Mark it on your calender and check out Gross!

So, share this with your friends if you've been there. Share with friends if you've ever got caught cussing and had to put a dollar up on the ceiling. It looks like there are quite a few of you out there!
