I took a couple of days off this past week. Actually I did quite a bit of work while I was home. I fixed a screen door, and worked on a few things for the radio station while I was home. Part of that time was spend, hanging with Harper.

Harper is our first grandchild. She's awesome. She does all the things that those little dolly's do. Eat, laugh cry and more.

We started out on the deck with a selfie. It was warm out that day. She loved to listen to the birds and watch the wind move the branches on the tree. After a while we went back in. I had to send music for the station so I was working on my compute. Harper watched intently from her car seat.

I'm working along and thought I heard a noise. Was that you baby girl?

She looked at me like, no problem. Just work.

So I kept on working and then I heard that gurgling noise that parents of newborns are familiar with. But I was alone with Harper. I didn't have any back up. I knew it was me and the baby wipes and nothing else from nobody else.

I made my plan. I executed that plan like a pro. And other than leaving the sleeper and blue blanket for someone else to clean up, took care of business.
