Look out Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Gretchen Wilson is gunning for you, but in a good way! The country singer, who just issued 'Right on Time,' will join the aforementioned gabbers and co-host 'The View' on Thursday, April 25.

"I'm not sure if they knew what they were getting themselves into, when they booked me for the show," the 'Redneck Woman' joked about her upcoming appearance. "This will be completely different from what I do every day, but I'm really looking forward to hanging out with these strong women and maybe even stirring things up!"

One thing is for certain on 'The View' and it's that lively (and sometimes heated) discussions always ensue. Leave it to Wilson spice up the talk show with her candor. We can pretty much predict that it will be an entertaining episode with Wilson taking a seat on the panel.

Wilson dropped 'Right on Time,' her first record in three years, on April 2. There is no better way to promote the platter than with a guest spot on a daytime TV show like 'The View,' mixed with a little topical and political discussion, as well.

The singer is also working on a covers album, so her schedule remains full and busy. Hopefully, she'll drop some more details about that project when she's sitting between Babs and Betsy on Thursday.
