A Sioux Falls man is charged after he was arrested on Monday.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says agents of the Sioux Falls Area Drug Task Force learned about marijuana allegedly being shipped to 22-year-old Kenyon Jamal Floyd. He was arrested at the US Post Office on South Louise Avenue when he picked up what Clemens says was a package with a half-pound of marijuana.

A search of Floyd's apartment at 500 South Kiwanis Avenue turned up more pot as well as paraphernalia and $6,000 in cash.

He was arrested for felony possession of marijuana, felony possession with intent to distribute and violation of a drug-free zone, since his apartment is within 1,000 feet of Garfield Elementary School and across the street from the Great Plains Zoo.
