REACH brings awareness to illiteracy in our community and puts a face on those it affects in order to gain support for literacy. Illiteracy can be an easy issue to ignore. The thing our adults have in common with our partners is that they all want to be better and more able to contribute to their family’s wellbeing and to the community as a whole.Their stories and dreams are un-relatable and familiar all at once. Providing support to the learners creates adults who are engaged in their community, have stronger families, have increased financial awareness and become taxpayers and homeowners.
