RCA Nashville’s Jake Owen is proving to be one of the hot tickets to get this fall with five shows already SOLD-OUT for his first headlining tour, “CMT ON TOUR JAKE OWEN: THE SUMMER NEVER ENDS 2012,” featuring special guests Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line. Jake fans will be attending the packed shows at the Tour kickoff at the Best Buy Theatre in New York, NY (10/10), Royal Oak Music Theatre in Detroit, MI (10/18), two-night run at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL (11/29-30) and The Pageant in St. Louis, MO (12/8). The nationwide tour will wrap in Jake’s hometown of Vero Beach, FL on December 15.

Adding to Jake’s list of firsts, both of his upcoming Chicago shows sold-out in less than two minutes after going on sale. “Having my first headlining tour is a huge dream come true and to hear that these shows are already sold-out is unbelievable!” shares Jake. “I can’t wait to get this party started with my friends.”

After playing to packed stadiums this summer on Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw’s blockbuster ‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour, Jake’s dynamic live show and undeniable summer anthems have launched him to headliner status.

Jake’s red-hot single, “The One That Got Away,” is currently climbing the country radio charts and already landed inside the Top 10. The song is from his chart-topping 2011 album Barefoot Blue Jean Night that has launched back-to-back, multi-week No. 1 hits with the PLATINUM-selling title track and the GOLD-certified “Alone with You.” His ode to summer, the new Endless Summer EP, produced by Joey Moi and executive produced by Jake made an impressive debut at #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Jake first captured the national spotlight with his hits “Startin’ with Me,” “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” and “Eight Second Ride.” His revival of “Life in a Northern Town” with Sugarland and Little Big Town in 2008 earned him Grammy and CMA Award nominations.
