Join us for the 43rd annual EmBe "Tribute to Women" awards event that honors outstanding individuals in the community. The event has a rich history, honoring the achievements of over 1,000 exceptional women and individuals in the past. Individuals are recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in one of nine categories including:
Banking & Finance, Business Achievement, EmBeliever Award, Government & Law, Healthcare & STEM, Humanities & Education, Nonprofit & Community Services, Sylvia Henkin Mentoring Award and Young Woman of Achievement.
Nominations can be submitted until February 26, 2016 at 5:00PM. Details about the nominations process can be found on www.EmBe.org/Tribute.
Tribute to Women is sponsored by Avera and will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2016 with a 5:00PM reception on the stage of the Great Hall at the Washington Pavilion in Downtown Sioux Falls. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, live music and a silent auction before the awards program commences at 7:00PM.
Funds raised from the event will provide scholarships for children to participate in camps and sports programs, help working parents obtain safe, affordable childcare and offer young women leaders the tools that they need to set and accomplish personal and professional goals in life.
