Elizabeth Taylor’s First Wedding Dress Up For Auction

Elizabeth Taylor's Wedding Dress
StyleList.com

According to StyleList, Elizabeth Taylor’s first wedding dress is going up for auction June 26th in London.  Of course, eight more marriages followed, but this is the one she wore when she married Conrad Hilton, Jr.

The Helen Rose designed gown is expected to bring around $75,000 and it features a 22 inch waist.  It had to be let out, as Taylor had a 20 inch waist when she wed Hilton in 1950 at the age of eighteen.

The dress was MGM Studio’s gift completely custom made for her.
