It's kind of bittersweet. The Sioux Falls Arena has been such a regional meeting place for decades.  Now with the near completion of the Denny Sanford Premier Center you know that 'events' like the Brantley Gilbert concert will be somewhere else.

Yes, it's time. It's time for a bigger, newer venue. It's time to bring in even bigger acts like the sold out Eric Church concert in December. But if you give it some thought, the fact that the arena is still where it is, and still is really a perfect 'tweener size,' it leaves Sioux Falls with more event options.

Last night was one of the last concerts where The Arena will take center stage. But you can bet that It will still be part of the plan when it comes to places to go in the future.
