Bobby Bones’ Epic South Dakota ‘Dude Trip’ Could it Happen?

Thursday morning on The Bobby Bones Show, Bobby mentioned how he'd like to set up a 'Dude Trip' to South Dakota.

The idea got started when he mentioned that he was voicing an radio ad for South Dakota Tourism. Now, in all fairness, if you punch up South Dakota and things to do, the Black Hills and Western South Dakota takes the lead. Bobby talked about hiking, and possibly visiting Mt. Rushmore. Both were great ideas, but I started pondering things to do in Eastern South Dakota and in particular the Sioux Falls Area.

Here's a list of the DUDE things to do here in Kickin' Country I thought he might be interested in.

It's calving season. What is more DUDE than maybe pulling a calf, or at the very least tagging one. I'm guessing we could find a local producer who might help with that. Here's one I tagged a few years ago.

We don't have any snow this winter, but it's breeding season for coyotes. I thought of coyote hunting, that's extremely DUDE and we could ramp it up with taking him and the crew out Coyote Hunting, at night! DUDE!

Bobby, this was a DUDE moment for me. I shot this Coyote of a tree stand while deer hunting a few years ago. Coyote hunting would be DUDE-Tacular.

Lisa from Sioux Falls called in and said he could do some hiking at Palisades Park or maybe check out Devils Gulch in Garretson. Both were solid ideas.

Yes Bobby, that is a Rattle Snake taken at 11 yards with a .22 mag pistol. That's the most Dude thing I've ever done. If we hit the weather right, it would stand the hair on the back of your neck up. [Guessing Lunchbox would wait that one out in the pickup.]

Speaking of South Dakota. I'm guessing we could round up a starter bull for you to try to ride. That has Tim McGraw Dude wrote all over it!

You mentioned a time or two that there isn't an animal you couldn't skin. That would make a heck of a DUDE video for you to post online. We could find a critter for you to prove out on.

I'd also put a call in to Governor Kristi Noem. Bobby, you mentioned possibly running for Governor here in South Dakota maybe we could arrange a horseback ride for him and his DUDES with Governor Noem. By the way, you might seriously running for Governor for the State of South Dakota. [Governor Noem is on the short list to run as Vice President with Trump this fall.] Hey, it could happen.

Golf, Fishing, Riding four wheelers or Motorcycles are also on the list.

Dude, Coyote hunting at night with thermal scopes and gear would be DUDE City. And outdoor junkies like Kip Moore, Dustin Lynch and Dierks Bentley would love it. Come to think of it Bobby, invite a couple of them. We'll do DUDE things, EAST River Style in South Dakota.
