Augustana Men's Basketball to Elite 8

What a trip it's been. The past 2 years of Augustana Basketball (31-2) have seen the Vikings inching the bar higher and higher. Now, they look to make some history in Frisco, Texas.

Wednesday night the Vikings take on Tarleton State (24-8) in Frisco Texas. According to Goaugie.com

Augustana is making its first ever appearance in the Elite Eight after winning the program's first region championship on March 15. The Vikings defeated Northwest Missouri State 80-78 in the Central Region Championship game to earn a berth to the Elite Eight. Augustan has played in three NCAA region championship games in program history (2009, 2010 and 2016).

Jeff Fylling will have the play-by-play tonight on Kickin' Country. Pre-Game is set for 5:40 PM with the tip at 6:00 PM.
