Two People Were Stabbed at the Mall of America over the Weekend

Two people were stabbed while shopping at the Mall of America over the weekend, resulting in one man being taken into custody.

It happened Sunday night while a man was trying on clothes in the men's department at the Macy's store inside of the mall.

He left the fitting room to show his family the clothes and when he went back there was a man in the room attempting to take his personal belongings.

After confronting the man, the suspect then produced a knife and during the fight stabbed the man in the stomach.

That's when a family member of the victim heard what was going on and came to help and was also stabbed.

Fortunately, both men's injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. The suspect was apprehended and now faces two assault charges.
