SIOUX FALLS -Saturday afternoon, crews recovered the body of 28-year old Lyle Eagletail of Sioux Falls from the Big Sioux River in Falls Park. Eagletail went into the water Thursday afternoon to try to aid in the rescue of a little boy who had fallen in. The boy was rescued, but Eagletail and the boy's 16-year old sister, Madison Leigh Wallace never made it out. Wallace's body was recovered Friday.

A third man attempted to pull them to safety, but was unable due to the strong current. It is unknown at this time how the child was able to exit the water. Authorities say he may have been pushed out of the water by the two adults.

Sideris said the Garrett Wallace is doing fine. He had not been in the water very long.

A fund has been set up in Madison Wallace's memory. Click here to learn how you can help.
