It has been nearly 15 years since Busch has had a new lager to it's lineup and one of the first states to sell the much anticipated brew is South Dakota.

Anheuser-Busch has announced Busch Signature Copper Lager is now available on most shelves. A statement from the brewing company says, "The beer is brewed with grains from America’s heartland, and offers a smooth, full-bodied copper lager that introduces roasted caramel malts to the classic Busch recipe."

A call to Beal Distributing in Sioux falls revealed that Busch Signature Copper Lager has been on certain store shelves for a couple of weeks already, with some retailers selling out.

The new Copper Lager introduces roasted caramel malts to the classic Busch recipe therefor offering a full-bodied lager.

Busch Signature Copper Lager will be sold as a 12-pack of 12-ounce bottles, a six-pack of 16-ounce cans, and for the heavy-hitter: 25 oz cans. And at 5.7% ALC/VOL it's about right after a long day.

I found my six pack of 16oz. cans at Hy Vee Wine and Spirits at 49th and Louise. Ask for Brady. He's a cool guy who knows his lagers.
