‘Snow Moon,’ Lunar Eclipse, and Comet

The second full moon of 2017 will be making an appearance up above Friday night.

This moon is known as the 'Snow Moon' and it will have some company.

A 'Snow Moon' is the name given to the first full moon of February, and this one will be accompanied a lunar eclipse.

A comet that shows up every five and a quarter years will also be cruising through the sky to say hi Friday night.
