Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says a rash of broken car windows is being investigated by officers.

"We had seven car windows that were broken out probably Friday night. All of these were in the southeast part of Sioux Falls. Very similar in all of them. The cars were parked outside. Somebody went by and used something to break out the different windows on them. Nothing was taken from the cars."

Clemens says juveniles may be involved in the vandalism.

"It is obviously a big inconvenience to people. But, from time to time we have different windows that were broken. Sometimes car mirrors that are broken. Usually it's teenagers that are driving around and decide just to break things for no good reason."

If you car was vandalized, Clemens urges you to report the crime to police.
