Mitchell will host the Minnesota Vikings "Sound the North Tour" featuring the original Gjallarhorn, Vikings alumni, cheerleaders, and mascot.

The Vikings launched the tour on August 6 as part of training camp. It is a month long journey where the team brings the Gjallarhorn to a city to help promote a new era of Vikings football.

The "Sound of the North Tour" will stop in Mitchell on September 9 at the Corn Palace. Fans are invited to attend the event from 1-4pm.

23 total stops are being made on the tour, but only two stops in South Dakota. Wall will host the event on September 10. More information can be found about the "Sound the North Tour" here.
