Sioux Falls Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen hasn't been open due to a glycol leak inside the Jones421 Building in January. Now loyal Sioux Falls customers wonder if Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen will ever reopen.

Is Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen going to close for good? Not on their watch!

The owners of Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen in Sioux Falls say there is a plan to reopen, but it is taking longer than they hoped.

In a Facebook post, owners of Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen are so grateful to the Sioux Falls community, and it's nice to know they are missed.

We are still closed BUT we WILL, I repeat….. WE WILL REOPEN!! This too shall pass! Swamp Daddy’s 4.0 coming soon. It’s been 86 days and counting (at the time of the Facebook post). But just know we are focused on FORWARD motion!!

There is still an active GoFundMe page for the Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen family. The goal for the GoFundMe page for Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen is to raise $20,000. The owners of Intoxibakes originally started the GoFundMe page because Swamp Daddy's Cajun Kitchen always does so much for the Sioux Falls community, and now it's our turn to help them. Every little bit helps this local family business!
