Annie Mello is a straight up nutritional ninja and this morning she hit us with some helpful nutrition tips in honor of March being National Nutrition Awareness Month.

After suffering from Celiac's Disease for the past 10 years, Annie wanted to create recipes that tasted delicious and you didn't feel like you were "restricted" from eating foods your friends and family were raving about!

To help folks with food Annie passes along her creative love for coooking in her book: Cooking Fit: A Fit Chic LA's Guide to Healthy Eating

"Cooking Fit" is a compilation of recipes leading you on a journey from breakfast to lunch, dinner and amazing desserts.

Derived from her blog, Fitchicla.com, these recipes are time efficient, inexpensive, and full flavor.

As a Co-owner of her gym, CPMFITness, Annie realizes that nutrition is the key component to the quality of life that you want to attain. "Cooking Fit" is an excellent way to create a healthy environment without sacrificing the amazing aromas, and fabulous tastes that good foods have to offer.

"I love seeing the enjoyment on a clients face when they can enjoy the taste of food and not feel guilty in the process"

-Anie Mello
