11 Year Old Writes, Sings Song about Bullying
According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, More than one out of every five (20.8%) students report being bullied at school. The reasons for being bullied reported most often by students were looks (55%), body shape (37%), and race (16%).
Meet 11-year old Jadyn Rylee. She has earned more than 16 million views on her YouTube Channel for her original vocal covers of popular songs. She recently wrote and sang a song about bullying. The song is called, "Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover," It's about bullying, told from the point of view of a victim.
She hopes that this song against bullying will bring attention to a serious problem faced by many of her friends and countless people throughout the world.
