Some say if you're smart enough you'd get out of here during the winter and enjoy a warmer climate. Ha! For many Snow Birds that are able to it's fine. But for those of us who continue to work and make a living in this area we relish the cold and icy wind chills and shoveling snow on a regular basis. (This is where I say "Same to you")

The 2018 South Dakota Vacation Guide is hot off the press and you can plan your vacation for the year no matter what climate you prefer.

The guide devotes a section to each of South Dakota’s four travel regions, including over 140 pages on the popular Black Hills and Badlands region of western South Dakota and eastern Wyoming. There’s a good mix of consumer-friendly articles and advertisements about famous Black Hills attractions like Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and other national parks, community spotlights, and family-oriented attractions.

Free copies of the South Dakota Vacation Guide are available at the Black Hills Visitor Information Center, by request online at Black Hills and Badlands, or by phoning (605) 355-3600.
